We are a people who worship...

Our worship is an offering to God in thanksgiving for the love He made known to us in Jesus Christ our Lord. Our worship is rooted in the tradition of the early church and the church fathers. We are a sacramental church with the Holy Eucharist at the center of our worship. We believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Whereas doctrines of transubstantiation and consubstantiation have sought to explain the presence of Christ in the oblation of bread and wine, Anglicans have historically avoided attempts to explain the mystery of faith in the Eucharist.

Holy Scripture is read and exposited in the worship. We believe that scripture contains all that is needed for salvation. We believe in the authority of Scripture for our lives. Richard Hooker used the metaphor of the "three-legged stool" to help us understand what is authoritative in the church. The legs are scripture, tradition, and reason. If you remove any of the legs, the stool collapses.

In our worship we practice the seven sacraments: baptism, Eucharist, confirmation, confession, unction, marriage, and orders for set-apart ministries. We believe in the anointing of the sick in accordance with the directives in James 5. Along with James we believe that prayers of righteous people accomplish much.
